Attach your Web Hud. It will default to the upper left side of your viewer.
Once it loads, you will see the large '?' icon on the top right. This is a handy permanently placed help location on the hud.
Hovering over it will reveal a helper display for the menu that you are on (See Gif below).
Hover over the '?' icon again to get rid of the helper menu.
The helper menu brings up information for the menu you are currently on. For example - if you are currently on the 'Jiggles' menu, the helper overlay will explain how to use the 'Jiggles' menu.
The helper overlays gives hints, tips, and how-to’s for the current menu you are on.
Click the arrows to move through the pages of helper explanations (See Gif below).
On some pages you may need to scroll a little down to read it all. See below for an explanation about scrolling.
Not So Fast-There’s More ! (Scrolling)
You may not have noticed, your Web Hud *SCROLLS*
Note the scroll bar on the left edge of the Web Hud (See Gif below).
You may click and drag down with your cursor, or use your mousewheel to scroll (note: SL media prims are sometimes buggy where mouse-wheel scroll may not always work).
You can also use the arrows on the left to move up and down (they are always pinned to the side here on all pages). Big arrows will scroll big, small arrows will scroll small (see Gif below).
Top Menus
At the very top are the buttons for the 4 core menus.
Click - 'Jiggles', 'Poses', 'Deformers' and 'News' to access an entire menu below.
Carry on reading to learn about how each of these menus work.
Deformer Menu
'Deformers Active'
This is the master switch for deformers.
Click to turn off and stop any deformers from getting actived.
Click again to turn inactive deformers back on.
'Gender'
Switching settings from 'masculine' and 'femine' changes a few items -
Click 'masculine' or 'feminine' and you will see a change in the colour scheme and background picture for each setting.
The default preset bodies (more on thise below) will change -
For women - ('Belleza', 'EBody', 'Kupra', 'Legacy', 'Maitreya', 'Slink').
For men - ('Aesthetic', 'Belleza', 'Legacy', 'Kario', 'Signature', 'Slink').
The 'Body Part Selection' icons (more on thise below) will change. Both the pictures and the names of the body parts are different.
'Deformer Body'
There are two main choices here -
Option 1 - CUSTOM
Use this if you have purchased any of Birth's seperate deformer products
(see Installation page for how to install them).
This option features highly customizeable deformers for each body part that work in unison with jiggles, as well as a fully featured deformer in it's own right.
Tailor the location and rotation of your body parts. Some body parts include thousands of animations for incredible customisation.
Choose if you would like a simpler, though less customizable experience.
Choose if you haven't purchased any deformer packs.
Free "lite" deformers built in to the 'Animation Attachment'.
Only boob, belly, thigh and booty deformer control.
Only one location and rotation setting tailored to the chosen mesh body.
Only become active to restore the body after jiggling that specific body part. (E.g. boob position restored once a boob jiggle ends).
Both Custom and Limited Presets share the following
Ability to 'override' jiggle animation's location and rotation for each body part.
Automatically return body to it's normal shape after turning off a jiggle.
'Repeat Timer'
(Only available with the 'Custom' Body setting.)
This setting applies your deformers repeatedly at the frequency you set under 'Duration'.
The deformers work by applying animations, but if somebody else was not on sim when you first triggered them they will not see it (they only need to see it once to permamently see it). So this setting ensures that everyone on sim will always see you deformed.
Tip - if using with physics, set timer to a longer duration so it doesn't regularly override your physics.
'Body Part Selection'
Selecting a Body Part to Control/Customize
Body parts that are installed and available to adjust will be in full color.
Body parts that are unavailable or have not been installed will be grayed out.
Use your cursor to select the desired body part, once clicked, additional options will become available below.
(Custom deformers have more body part options than the preset options).
'Rotation' and 'Location' Options
Each body part has two sub-settings: Rotation, and Location.
Each body part can be activated or de-activated individually by clicking the switches under 'Active'. (See Gif below)
XYZ Axis Buttons
(Only available with the 'Custom' Body setting.)
Use them to customise your body part - rotate/ move and adjust the size, shape, and default position of the desired body part.
Override Jiggles
This is a really important fun setting -
When set to “ON”, your body parts will retain their custom adjusted deformer shape/position, EVEN WHILE BIRTH’S JIGGLES ARE ACTIVE!! (It will intelligently override either location OR rotation in order to still deliver the proper jiggle look for you).
No more jarring popping in and out of deformer location in between jiggles! You get smooth and natural looking movement and shape retention.
This way you can for example - keep a deform boob location, while allowing the rotation animation that a particular boob jiggle has (see examples below). Or similarly keep the deformer rotation, and allow the location animation of the jiggle.
You can also entirely override a jiggle's animation to isolate body parts. For example - if you have a jiggle that affects both the booty and thighs, and you want to isolate just the booty to have no thigh jiggles. Simply turn the 'override' deformer setting on for thigh's location and rotation and it will stop the thigh jiggle.
'Saves'
(Only available with the 'Custom' Body setting.)
You may create and save up to 16 different re-nameable custom deformer configurations.
These not only remember the XYZ numbers for location and rotation of your various body parts, but also whether the 'active' and 'override' switches are turned on for each too.
There is also a 'Rename Save' Box to give your saves specific names for easier recognition, simply click in the slot and type, and your currently active save will be renamed.
You can see which save you currently have active where it's highlighted pink.
Clicking another save button will automatically apply those saved deformers to your avatar.
Jiggles Menu
'Jiggles Mode'
There are two different modes for jiggle animations -
'Normal' - plays continuously, regardless of avatar action.
'Walk'- plays the jiggle animation ONLY when your avatar is walking.
To turn either on or off, first select the Category ('Normal' or 'Walk') then click to turn the 'Play Jiggles'”' sub-option 'ON' or 'OFF'.
NEW! - 'Set Stack Mode'
Stack Mode controls how speed and amount are applied to your active jiggles. There are two modes - 'All' and 'Singles'.
‘Singles’ mode -
In this mode you can control the speed and amount of every single individual jiggle.
Click each jiggle on your 'jiggle stack' to activate them (their border will turn pink to show they are active, see below).
Then when you click the speed and amount buttons, their settings will only apply and be shown on the highlighted jiggles.
'All' mode -
Changes every single jiggle on the stack at once (see below)
(Tip - use this first if you want most of your jiggles a single speed and amount, then use "Single" mode after to change the others.)
Speed & Amount -
Click these to change how much your active jiggles actually move.
Want something subtle and slow? Try Speed setting “1” and Amount setting “1”. Looking for something wilder? Crank them up to 3!
The pink symbols above and below each jiggle on the 'Jiggle Stack' show the current speed and amount ('S1' is Speed setting 1, 'A2' is Amount setting 2 etc) allocated to that jiggle.
Jiggle Stacks -
There are 8 slots at the top of the jiggles menu for your active jiggles.
You can drag your jiggles from below under 'My Jiggles' you have installed on to these slots.
They have a hierarchy - from left to right and up to down. Jiggles at the end take priority over the ones prior (e.g. a boob jiggle to the right or below another boob jiggle will show in place of the earlier one).
Double click any jiggle within the stack to delete it.
Jiggle 'Saves' -
There are 16 save slots for the jiggle stacks, both for 'Normal' mode and 'Walk' mode to make a total of 32.
Simply drag jiggles to the stack and it will automatically save them to the currently active save number.
Easily switch between saved jiggles by clicking any another save number.
My Jiggles -
Here you have all the jiggle animations you have installed in to your 'Animation Attachment'.
Simply drag those up in to the jiggle stacks to use them.
Click the arrows if you have multiple pages of jiggles to cycle through them.
Jiggle Library -
This shows jiggles you have purchased but not yet installed in your 'Animation Attachment'.
You can click each picture for details of which product these jiggles belong to for easier installing.
It also gives instructions on how to install. When they are installed, they will be visible under your 'My Jiggles' and removed from your 'Jiggle Library'.
If you have installed all your purchases you won't see this 'Jiggle Library' menu. (That's Good!)
This will remember the specific settings you used for each pose.
Save either your preferences for that animaiton (e.g. speed), or where poses have settings to tailor to your body (e.g. hand width).
For example - an animation that has settings for the size of your booty, with 'Remember Settings' on you only need to set it once. Then every time you trigger that pose it will fit your avatar.
Play Pose -
The main button to turn your poses on or off.
My Poses -
Here are all your active poses that you have installed into your 'Animation Attachment'.
Clicking one of the poses, will change the active display (the large top right picture) to this pose.
If the pose has any extra settings, they will be displayed immediately below when you click the pose. Then click specific settings to modify your pose (see below).
If you have more than one page of poses, simply click the arrows to turn the pages.
Pose Library -
This is similar to the Jiggles Library - it shows poses you have purchased but not yet installed in to your 'Animation Attachment'.
It also gives instructions on how to install.
Click the pictures to find out which product the item is from.
When these poses are installed, they will then show under your 'My Poses' rather here in the 'Pose Library'.
If you've installed all your items this menu won't even show, which is good!
